Outside Reading Over Easter Break

If any student is interested in reading a good book over the Easter break, WRS teachers recommend Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe, who died last week. The book is a quick read at only 215 pages, and is a great source of information on our upcoming study of colonial Africa during the 3rd Trimester. The story focuses on the struggles of the Ibo-nation of southeastern Nigeria, with British colonial administrators, and then with the military dictators from other Nigerian ethnic groups.
